The much-awaited Annual Day 2025 of Eden Angels School was celebrated with immense pride, colour, and enthusiasm. The program began right on time with the arrival of our esteemed Chief Guest, Shri Subhash Phal Dessai, Honourable Minister of Social Welfare, Government of Goa, along with Guest of Honour Mrs. Subha Phal Dessai and the honourable councillors of the Sanguem Municipal Council.
A Graceful Start
The ceremony opened with a solemn prayer and lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the light of knowledge and the spirit of togetherness. This was followed by a warm and eloquent welcome speech by our School Incharge, Mrs. Naseema Sayed, who extended gratitude to all the guests and set the tone for the evening.
Cultural Extravaganza
The audience was then treated to a dazzling series of dance performances by our students, which included vibrant Goan folk dances, energetic national acts, and even international cultural performances. Each performance was a beautiful blend of tradition, creativity, and youthful energy—leaving the entire auditorium mesmerized.
Felicitation & Inspiring Words
Our Chief Guest and Special Guests were given a heartfelt welcome by the Eden Angels School Management Amin Shaikh, Anis Khan, Hafeeza Saiad and Zuhreh Dehghan and the School Incharge Naseema Sayed and honoured with a formal felicitation ceremony. The program featured a series of motivational and inspiring speeches by:
Chairman Mr. Shaikh Amin, who expressed his vision and gratitude to all who contributed to the school’s growth.
Deputy Chairperson Mr. Iqbal Sayed, who applauded the efforts of the staff and students.
Councillor Mr. Messiah D’Costa, who shared encouraging words for the young learners.
Mrs. Subha Phal Dessai shared a loving speech which inspired everyone present
And finally, a touching speech by the Chief Guest, Shri Subhash Phal Dessai, who highlighted the value of quality education and community support in shaping the future.
Honouring Excellence
The event also included a proud moment of felicitation for outstanding students across various categories, acknowledging their achievements throughout the year.
Additionally, special recognition was given to dedicated teachers:
Outstanding Pre-Primary Teacher was awarded to Teacher Deo Dita Fernandes
Outstanding Primary Teacher was awarded to Sir Irfan
Their commitment and passion for nurturing young minds were applauded with thunderous cheer.
Fun & Family
There was a joyful buzz among the parents, who watched their children perform on stage with immense pride and excitement. Adding a special interactive twist, spot prizes were given to parents, who participated with great enthusiasm and sportsmanship, adding to the festive spirit.
A Colourful Conclusion
The program was a wonderful display of talent, unity, and school spirit, marked by vibrant costumes, impressive performances, and heartwarming moments.
Finally there was a round of awards for all students who actively performed throughout the year in different competition. Program ended with a colourful display of song " The World is a Rainbow "
The celebration concluded on a patriotic note with the National Anthem.
